While looking for a way to make my landscape business more profitable during the off-season, I opened a Christmas Shop on the Square in Collierville, Tennessee, and my professional floral design career was established. Many in Memphis remember me not as a scientist or landscaper, but as a floral designer, and as usual the bigger the project the more I liked it! At one time, the business encompassed a wholesale florist, many retail shops, landscaping crews, and even pool construction! Our floral business specialized in large special events and weddings. Our clients at the time of closing the business due to the death of my mother, included St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Another Roadside Attraction Catering, Federal Express, Dollywood, The Hollywood Casino, Fitzgerald's Casino as well as many large, private accounts, including a record-breaking 26 years of Christmas designing at the home of Collierville residents David and Patti Wilder. Since moving to Texas, I have done many private residences at Christmas, as well as fresh floral work including a party at a King Ranch Dispersal Sale.
I am available for any type of floral design work, from individual arrangements, corporate floral design, and I really enjoy designing in large venues. I LOVE small watermelons and BIG floral arrangements!
